- I am an artillery officer in the United States Army on my first deployment to Iraq. I have a bachelors degree in psychobiology and am studying criminal justice for my masters. I have a wonderful girlfriend, puppy, and family back home who I miss dearly. My intention of this blog is to enlighten those back home as to what a deployment entails while remaining anonymous and preserving operational security
